Servo Motion solutions can be very expensive when using new off the shelf
components. Look at the example below to get an idea of what we can do
for you in this area. This solution is based upon good condition or reconditioned
hardware obtained on the used market.
Example: A servo controlled astronomical telescope mirror polishing machine. This
machine uses a ballscrew to shuttle a 60lbs+ mirror blank back and forth
as abrasive grit is applied to perform the grinding / polishing action.
Servo Motor = DC servo approximately 100lbs. 230V(max) I(max)=50A
Servo Amplifier = Very beefy ( almost indestructible )
Servo Card = LM628 based PID motion controller ( 2 channel ) ...our proprietary PC ISA slot design

This integrated servo system hardware has a sell price of $2500. It would be furnished
with rudimentary test software as a minimum. Software developed for your custom
applications would be sold separately.
